Executive Director – Pamela Gorman
Pamela Gorman is the Executive Director of the Smoke-Free Alternatives Trade Association (SFATA). Previously, she worked for a major vapor products manufacturer, managing government affairs in 22 states. She had also worked for a Fortune 300 company as a Senior Manager of Policy and Advocacy, focused primarily on tobacco harm reduction and youth tobacco prevention public policy issues. Prior to working in the private sector, she was a state legislator, serving both in the Arizona House and Senate. Always a fierce defender of free markets and individual rights, her work today is focused on protecting the vapor products industry and preserving adult access to this revolutionary technology here at SFATA.

Membership Director – Lynda Barry
Lynda Barry is the Membership Director of the Smoke-Free Alternatives Trade Association (SFATA). She owns and operates a Minnesota-based business offering support and strategic planning services to “solopreneurs,” small business owners, and trade organizations. As a former smoker and now Vaper, Lynda is pleased to have a role in SFATA's efforts to help ensure that the vapor industry remains intact and available to everyone who benefits from these life-changing products.

Member Services Associate – PJ Brickweg
PJ Brickweg works part-time with our Administration team at SFATA. She has a background in credit & fraud investigation. PJ has been a vaper for several years and is happy to help make sure this industry stays strong because it has been such a value to her personally.

Director of State Chapter Relations – Schell Hammel
Schell Hammel is the owner of The Vapor Bar who operates 8 retail store locations in Texas, West Virginia, and Virginia. She also owns an AEMSA certified mixing lab, established in 2011. She formerly served as the Vice President of the SFATA Board of Directors and has been the SFATA Texas Chapter President for 3 years. Schell has been very active in advocacy, speaking at the FDA, OMB/OIRA, and is heavily involved in State and Federal lobbying of lawmakers about vapor products. Schell is very passionate about the industry and keeping these products easily accessible to consumers that would like to use them for harm reduction. She actively speaks at events, as well as educates the public regarding vapor products.

Her last corporate position before entering the vapor industry was the Director of a Bariatric Weight loss surgery facility, directing and speaking at seminars, support groups and media. Previously, she worked in other corporate positions, including 15 years in the medical industry. Schell held positions in management both in primary and chiropractic care, and was the Director of Business Development and Marketing for a TENET hospital. She is the active mother of two boys, age 21 and 13, and married to Jeff Hammel, who works in the medical field.
